“We live out of state and just came to Durham for a short visit. While here, we ended up agreeing to take our elderly friend’s cat home with us. The folks at Ellis Crossing Animal Hospital really went the extra mile for us to get our kitty, Baby, travel ready. For one, we are SO GRATEFUL they were able and willing to squeeze us in for a last minute appointment. Our cat got all the vaccines and meds she needed to be able to fly. The staff all went the extra mile to take care of Baby, explain (and write down!) how to dose her meds for the flight, what to follow up on with our vet at home, and took down our regular vet’s information to forward Baby’s records. They were so patient with us and also very accommodating of our friend with her walker. We were really impressed by the great customer service, friendliness, and compassion from everyone we interacted with. The office itself is beautiful, clean, and was easy to find. They even offered us snacks and drinks in the waiting area, and I love their cute board welcoming their appointments for the day! I’m almost sorry this was just a one time visit for us, because if we lived here, we’d definitely be bringing all our animals here! Thank you all again! We are excited to get Baby home to California.”
